Capcom is bringing the fight to the Forbidden Lands with a new crossover event in Monster Hunter Wilds, featuring Street Fighter 6’s Akuma and Blanka-chan. Starting May 28, hunters can unlock Akuma-themed layered armor and a Blanka-chan Palico set, complete with signature moves and animations (Polygon).
Players can don Akuma’s layered armor, transforming their hunter’s appearance and unlocking iconic moves like the Gou Hadoken and Raging Demon. These special actions are accessed via the item bar, giving combat a distinctly Street Fighter flair (Xbox Wire).
🐱 Blanka-chan Palico Armor
Your trusty Palico companion isn’t left out—equip them with the Blanka-chan layered armor, turning them into an electrified plush version of Blanka, complete with animations and idle poses worthy of the World Warrior himself (MonsterHunter.com).
🎮 How to Access the Event
- Start Date: May 28, 2025
- Requirements: Hunter Rank 21 or higher
- Quest Giver: Speak with Vespae Unit Handler Quinn at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp
- Quests: Complete the “Ultimate Strength” side mission to unlock the Akuma and Blanka-chan sets. Additional arena quests, “Demonic Strength” and “True Strength,” offer more goodies (Polygon).

Alongside the free content, Capcom is also dropping a paid DLC pack that features:
- Alma outfits styled after Cammy and Chun-Li
- Street Fighter 6-themed emotes, gestures, stickers, and pendants
